Community events

Poorly managed events can have a negative impact on a community, the most obvious issues being noise, disengagement, pollution, resentment and community alienation.

We actively build relationships with partners and work with the local community when delivering a community and/or charity based event, to engage them at the planning stage thus giving them a voice.

This includes consultation exercises with local residents, friends of …’ bodies, community groups and organisations.

The aim is to gain a balanced view of opinions, ideas and input from key stakeholders without compromising the event’s objectives.

Example of community events

Organisations we have delivered community and charity events for include local authorities, Action for Kids, the Princes Trust, Sure Start and Hackney Council for Voluntary Services. Vjem Events has delivered sponsored walks, a local business exhibition showcasing local products and services, concerts, recruitment fair, fashion show, outdoor cinema and fun days.

Each event is designed for all round entertainment and flexibility, and includes something for everyone.

Community event package

We offer set packages for charities, local authorities and not for profit organisations (excludes venue hire).  Choose from one of the following packages, which are charged on a per head basis:

• Open day

• Small community festival

• Workshop / seminar
